Launch draft

Built to minimize retained customer content.

KB Sentinel is designed to analyze Jira Service Management and Confluence knowledge quality while minimizing stored raw content. This page reflects the current operating privacy posture for pilots, reviewer diligence, and Marketplace review.

Final counsel review is still pending for controller or processor roles, regional transfer language, and the final public DPA. The operating data-handling summary below is current.

What the app handles

  • Confluence article titles, URLs, versions, space identifiers, and reduced excerpts
  • Jira issue summaries, labels, priorities, statuses, and timestamps processed to derive support-signal metadata
  • Confluence page-author Atlassian account IDs retained solely for Atlassian Personal Data Reporting API obligations
  • Derived findings, repair drafts, score history, regression cases, scan jobs, and tenant configuration

Why the app processes this data

The product uses this information to detect drift, contradictions, duplication, missing coverage, and structure problems, then rank what to fix based on support outcomes.

Where data is stored

In-scope persisted tenant data is stored in Atlassian Forge-hosted services, including Forge SQL. The app does not intentionally maintain a separate external customer database at launch.

Residency scope

In-scope End-User Data for data residency includes reduced article excerpts and metadata, derived findings and drafts, support-signal metadata, scan records, and page-author account IDs stored in Atlassian Forge-hosted services. Optional OpenAI repair-drafting request payloads are out of scope for Atlassian-hosted residency.

Model processing

If AI-assisted drafting is enabled, selected article titles, reduced excerpts, article URL and freshness metadata, finding summaries, evidence, recommendations, and derived support keywords and counts may be sent to OpenAI to generate repair drafts. The app can still operate in a heuristic mode without enhanced drafting enabled.

Retention

Forge-hosted app data follows Atlassian-hosted retention behavior. Current launch planning assumes retained app data is recoverable for up to 28 days after uninstall, consistent with Atlassian Forge documentation.

Status

This page is intended to support buyer diligence, Marketplace review, and pilot conversations. ResolveLoop will replace it with the final counsel-reviewed privacy notice before general availability.

DPA path

A draft data processing addendum is available at /dpa/ for review and pilot diligence. Final counsel review is still required before launch use.
